May - June, 2005
This is the second month of our first burst of artistic creativity with Jesus. Much of it was done with watercolor, although "The Cross" has some soft pastel to get that sandy feeling. "G.Yamamuro" and "He Holds" were done on a postcard-size Muji pad, and "Home" & "Jujika kara" were done on an older pad that I had, on which watercolor dries incredibly fast, creating a different effect. The Holy Spirit series saw a cool return to charcoal combined with some soft pastel covered by watercolor (for the fire). And *gasp*, I actually used oil pastels again to make "Room"!
