Mighty Rivers

I was walking home one night and struggling with some things when I felt this picture... that His love was always pouring down on me, even now, even then when I wasn't feeling great or "doing" great. His mighty rivers pour down on you and me all the time, incessant, unceasingly.

Fountains opened deep and wide;
Through the floodgates of God’s mercy
Flowed a vast and gracious tide.
Grace and love, like mighty rivers,
Poured incessant from above,
And Heaven's peace and perfect justice
Kissed a guilty world in love.

Wow, I just noticed the words to the fourth verse of the song:

In Thy truth Thou dost direct me
By Thy Spirit through Thy Word;
And Thy grace my need is meeting,
As I trust in Thee, my Lord.
Of Thy fullness Thou art pouring

Without measure, full and boundless,
Drawing out my heart to Thee.

Here's my heart, Lord. Thank You for showing me Your "streams of mercy, never ceasing" and so drawing out my heart to You. You may have it, Lord! Thank You.
