My Sabbath Forever
By Ramone - September 15, 2009
During bathtime my son and I were singing,
Shabbat shalomFor the second night, my son asked me what "Shabbat" ("Sabbath") meant while we were singing. I prayed and replied as simply as I could, and this is how I described it. Later Jesus impressed me to paint it like this.
Shabbat shalom
Moshiach Yeshua is my shalom
Yeshua, Yeshua
Yeshua my shalom

Chasing the Train
By A.H. - September 3, 2009
I see the Lord
Seated on the throne, exalted
And the train of His robe
Fills the temple with glory
And the whole earth is filled
And the whole earth is filled
And the whole earth is filled
With His glory
Holy, holy, holy, holy
Holy is the Lord
Holy, holy, holy, holy
Holy is the Lord of lords

Life. Death. Truth. Rest. Fruit. Freedom. Reality... reality is very dramatic, very real, and very vivid. You are awesome, Lord, so much more awesome than we can imagine or picture! Thank You, Jesus, for all You have done!

Condemned!
By Ramone - September 10, 2009
Online I watched a beautiful video about "Imagine Art", an art therapy center and thought of how it would be great to do something similar for people, but I wondered if I could do that --- because I have had my own private weaknesses.
Then You, Lord, You showed me a picture of a big sick-looking body, and a smaller, bright person in the corner. The big-looking one is the "body of sin"! And in the corner is me, pure in You, but sometimes feeling small & overwhelmed by the sin I see still remaining in my flesh.
Then You told me there is a cross in the picture! (How can it be otherwise when looking at our sins and struggles! How can we ever look at our sins & struggles without seeing the cross!) You say the cross is at the bottom (it is "the bottom line" of all things with You!) and it is between me and this body of sin! Thank You!!!
Knowing Your cross is between me and my body of death, knowing the cross is between my sins & me, I am a butterfly! I am transformed!
The first scripture I thought of was:
"For we know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be done away with [or 'rendered powerless'], that we should no longer be slaves to sin." (Romans 6:6)And the verses that apply here most are obviously Romans 7:21-8:4!
"And so He condemned sin in the flesh." (Rom.8:3)So the name of this picture is "Condemned!"
Because my sin is condemned! My sinful flesh & body is condemned by what You have done, and I am saved! Thank You!

My Sabbath Rest
By Ramone - September 7, 2009
The Lord the Saviour is her rest;
On Him she casts her cares;
By faith she leans upon His breast,
And banishes her fears.

Taste and See!
The Valley of Baca
How blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
In whose heart are the highways to Zion!
Passing through the Valley of Baca [Weeping] they make it a spring;
The early rain also covers it with pools of blessings.
They go from strength to strength,
Every one of them appears before the God of gods in Zion.
- Psalm 84:5-7
By Ramone - September 3, 2009
Surely He took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered Him stricken by God,
smitten by Him, and afflicted.
But He was pierced for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him,
and by His wounds we are healed.
- Isaiah 53:4-5
