The Valley of Baca


How blessed is the man whose strength is in You,
In whose heart are the highways to Zion!
Passing through the Valley of Baca [Weeping] they make it a spring;
The early rain also covers it with pools of blessings.
They go from strength to strength,
Every one of them appears before the God of gods in Zion.

Surely He took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered Him stricken by God,
smitten by Him, and afflicted.

But He was pierced for our transgressions,
He was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him,
and by His wounds we are healed.

Hi Ramone: I posted a comment some weeks ago, and then you replied, I tried to send you an e-mail, I wrote a long one! but I think you never received it,I'll try again later, now I just want to tell you that this Psalm is one of my favorites, I love the painting, it's absolutely perfect I think many of us feel reflected on it!
